We are a family-run small business with a big dream. As a single mother facing long odds, I worked tirelessly to create stability for my three young daughters. Money was always tight, and careful budgeting became an essential part of daily life.

Even in the hardest seasons, I held onto one meaningful ritual: saving enough each month to buy a single candle. To many, a candle is a simple purchase, but for me it represented comfort, calm, and a small moment I could call my own. That modest act of self-care became a source of strength and, ultimately, the inspiration behind Candles and Lights.

As my daughters grew older and life brought new chapters, my loved ones continued to encourage my creativity. They pushed me to share my talent and reminded me of the joy those simple candles once brought during the toughest times. What began as a personal ritual has since evolved into a mission-driven family business dedicated to crafting high-quality, hand-poured products that make every home feel warm, welcoming, and cared for.
